What We Treat

How Elevate Can Help

Post-Operative Recovery

Structured rehabilitation following surgery — from cruciate repair to spinal procedures. We help your animal regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

Chronic Condition Management

Ongoing support for arthritis, hip dysplasia, and age-related stiffness. Evidence-based treatments to maintain quality of life and comfort.

Wellness & Prevention

Proactive physiotherapy for active dogs and ageing animals. Build strength, improve fitness, and catch issues before they become problems.

Behavioural Concerns

Behavioural changes are often the first sign of underlying pain. If your animal is showing changes in temperament, reactivity, or drive, a physiotherapy assessment can identify whether discomfort is the root cause.

Common Questions

Do I need a vet referral for my animal?

If your dog has a diagnosed condition, vet consent is legally required. Once booked in, Elevate will contact your vet in advance of your appointment.

How long does a session last?

Sessions are 60 minutes, same for follow-up sessions.

What happens during an assessment?

Elena will review your animal's history, observe how they move, and carry out a thorough hands-on assessment. She'll explain her findings, discuss a treatment plan, and give you a home exercise programme to start straight away.

How long until I see results?

Many carers notice improvements after the first 2–3 sessions, but every animal is different. Post-surgical rehabilitation typically follows a structured timeline, while chronic conditions like arthritis benefit from ongoing management.

Is this a one-off treatment or ongoing?

It can be either. Some animals need a short course of treatment after surgery or injury, while others benefit from regular maintenance sessions — particularly for arthritis or age-related conditions. Elena will recommend what's right for your animal.

Where does the session take place?

Elena travels to your home across Canterbury and Kent. Your animal is assessed and treated in their own environment, which is less stressful and allows Elena to observe them in their normal setting.
